fiko privacy policy
Last updated 9 October 2026.
fiko is published by k3rn. It collects no data from your device and sends nothing to k3rn.net or anywhere else. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising, and the app never connects anywhere on its own.
What stays on your device
Servers, SSH keys, known hosts and settings are stored on your device and copied nowhere. Passwords and private keys fiko stores are encrypted with a key held in the device's secure key store. Nothing fiko stores is part of an Android backup or of a transfer to another device.
What leaves your device
Only what you send to a server you chose to connect to: what you type in a session, the files you upload, and a picture or a file you paste or share into fiko. It goes to that server over SSH and nowhere else. The clipboard is read only when you paste, or when a program in a session asks for it and you allow it.
Deleting it
What fiko stored is removed in fiko itself, piece by piece, or all at once by uninstalling it or by clearing its data in Android's settings. k3rn has nothing of yours to delete.
Google Play
fiko is installed from Google Play. What Google Play collects about an installation, such as a crash report from a device that shares them, is Google's and is covered by Google's own policy.
